Server Rules

The Celtic Warriors favor Fairplay. Not alowed is:

- Spawnkilling
- Typekilling
- Non Orientationkills
- Disrespect of the serverrules
- Disrespect of new players (newbees)
- Cursing or foul language
- Camping
- Feigndeath
- Use of amplifier (amp)
- Use of invisibility (invis) (read the chapter below on the exceptions)
- Use of any Bot or other Hack
- The use of the name Player, if its obvious your not a "newbee"
- The use of no name

In addition to the rules above, there are some extra rules that apply to Celtic Warriors members in specific.

- During practice, wearing your clantag is mandatory.

- During matches, wearing your clantag is mandatory.

- All the members agree with all rules mentioned on this entire page, regardless if they play on our server, or on any other server around in Unreal. Exception for the rules are if a third party server rules clearly has other rules (i.e spawnkilling alowed etc.)

- Members will keep their mouth shut and don't type remarks during matches, unless its something like: G1 or Good shot etc...

- If for some reason a member is being accused for bad or dishonest playing, that or any other member will not go reply by telling them: you cheat too. (this willl be dealt with after the match, with the participating clanleaders)

- If another clan or player plays without honor, like spawnkilling, typekilling, we will, and i repeat, will never ever go return the favor, regardless if this is during a match or you are playing as a single player, always be the better player!!!!!!!!!!

Spawnkilling

So what are Spawnkills?

Spawnkill is when a player respawns and gets killed before having the chance to pick up a decent weapon and orientate around. Shooting a player right after the moment he picks up a gun is also a Spawnkill but referred as Non Orientationkill.

Note:
A player that runs out of amno is free game, its up to you to let him go or not.

So if you see a player picking up his first gun, you can do two things:

- Just walk by, but beware of getting shot in the back !!!
- Or wait till that player gets his gun and let him orientate untill he actually sees you, from that point he is free game.





Typekills

So what are Typekills?

If a player is using: Say

In this case the player is typing a message readable to all players in the field.
Killing this player is a Typekill. and is not alowed.

Note:
When a player does this in the middle of the field and gets cought in a crossfire, the player himself is to blame getting in a crossfire.
Therefore: go stand in a quite corner facing the wall or even better, lie down there.

If a player is using: TeamSay

In this case the player is typing a message to the other players in his team.
Killing this player is not a Typekill, killing this player is alowed.

Why?: Teamsay is part of the tactics of a team therefore its part of the game.

It is obvious that this part is difficult, from the outside you cannot see if a player is typing in TeamSay or Say.
So general rule here is don't shoot at any player that is standing still or is lying down regardless if he is typing TeamSay or Say!!!

Note:
During a match there should be no talking, therefore typekills should not be posible.

If you want to type something like: "good one" or "g1", be smart and do this before you respawn.
After a rewarded frag, if you want to reply something like: "thanks", be smart and go stand in a quite corner or make use of a keybind.





Non Orientationkills

So what are Non Orientationkills?

Spawnkill is when a player respawns and gets killed before having the chance to pick up a decent weapon and orientate around. Schooting a player right after the moment he picks up a gun is a Non Orientationkill, which basically is a Spawnkill.

Disrespect of the serverrules

This simply means that you should respect all rules mentioned here, and thereby showing respect to all players that play on our server(s).





Disrespect of new players (newbees)

Newbees are always to be respected, they are the new people we desperatelly need in this game!!!!!

- It is also policy of the Celtic Warriors to not go make easy excessive kills on new players, because they are easy to frag game, its just a request, but maybe only kill them each second or third time you see them, just a request..................

- There is also no shame in telling them how to type, or explaining the game and point out the do's and don'ts.

- And no, we will never ever ban newbees, though we understand that they can be terrible anoying sometimes :) Just try to live with them :)

Again!!!, always remember they are the new breed!!!





Cursing or foul language

Cursing like: fuck you, or fucking asshole, well things like that are obviously not alowed.
If someone starts cursing at you or someone else, tell that player to stop that.

But in any case don't ever start doing this yourself, always be the better one.

Note:
When you got killed in a cool awsome way, or getting killed just after getting the belt, or when you end up in the tox or so.
You can say things like: shoot, darn or even damn or shit, but dont overdo it, or use it like: shit lol.





Camping

So what is Camping?

Camping is staying in a certain place which is difficult to reach for other players, or a place containing enough amno and or health to sustain your injuries.

In general if you killed 2 / 3 players, move and go somewere else.

Note:
Switching places with a teammember is alowed.





Feigndeath

So what is Feigndeath?

Feigndeath is lying down looking like a player being killed, therefore you can be ignored by another player who you can shoot in the back when they pass you.

Using feigndeath will trigger other players to go Typekilling, use of it therefore is not alowed.

Note:
If you are Feigndeath ( for typing ), don't stand up when you see an oposite teamplayer, but wait till he is gone. The same goes for standing up when you see a fight in front of you, three things you can do:
- Wait till the players are gone or dead.
- Stand up and go somewere else.
- Stand up and go around the corner first and than come back.

Another Note:
Never go Feigndeath for typing next to a belt, superhealth, armor, toxsuit or kevlarsuit, just be smart about those things. Other players may think you are just feigning typing so you can get the belt when it reapears.





Use of amplifier (amp)

On most server nowadays, the Amplifier is dissabled, so it doesn't really apply anymore.





Use of invisibility (invis)

On most server nowadays, Invisibility is dissabled, so it doesn't really apply anymore.

Note:
The Celtic Warriors had some maps on rotation in the past (and may well be do it again in the future) that were based on using Invisibility, in such cases you don't go fight people while using Invisibility, but only to be able to sneak to secrets or superhealt, belt, ah well, stuff like that.

Another Note:
Some of Bonekeepres maps make use of the Hoverpack, this pack makes you able to hover in middair while being Iinvisible and shoot at people with endless amount of amno, in that case its part of the map, and is therefore absolutelly ok to use it like all the cool secrets in his maps :)






Use of any Bot or other Hack

Use of any kind of Aimbots is not alowed.
Use of Typebots are not alowed.
Use of Lagbots are not alowed.
Use of any kind of other Hack or Cheat is not alowed.

Alowed is:

- Only a normal installed version of Unreal, Unreal Gold, is alowed.
- Running patches like patch 224v, 225a, 225f, 226f, 227 are alowed.
- Using any command already build in the game is alowed, including the use of any kind of keybind.
- All patches for fixing game, videocard, soundcard bugs are alowed.
- Using any kind of Trick present in a map is alowed.

Note:
Using the Purple Shield to gain invisibility is a Trick and not a Cheat, and therefore alowed.
Using the Walk mode to be able to move around without sound is also a Trick and therefore alowed.

Another Note:
Be carefull with the Tricks mentioned above, if people think you are Cheating, than i guess its the better option to show them how its done................to prevent giving a bad name to yourself or your clan..............

In any case use the Tricks available with care.
