Zipfile: DXT- Tool

Description: This plugin enables you to save 24bit alpha channel textures into DXT1, DXT3 and DXT5 format, depending on what the texture is used for. The Zipfile contains a bunch of tools, i didn't check them yet, i will on a later shedule.
Installation:

- After unpacking the zipfile, look for the file: dds.8bi
- copy this file into your Photoshop
- Look for the folder: Plug-Ins
- Than for: File Formats and paste the plugin there, and make sure it is within that folder.

When you now start Photoshop and you want to save a texture choose in your fileformat save options: DDS, after clicking ok you will get a bunch of settings.






Zipfile: Targa

Description: This plugin enables you to save 24bit alpha channel textures into Targa format. The Zipfile contains the plugin for PhotoShop 7.0 only and a readme file. Older versions of Photoshop are NOT supported, if Photoshop CS supports i can't tell yet..............
Installation:

- After unpacking the zipfile, look for the file: Targa.8BI
- copy this file into your Photoshop
- Look for the folder: Plug-Ins
- Than for: File Formats and paste the plugin there, and make sure it is within that folder.

When you now start Photoshop and you want to save a texture choose in your fileformat save options: Targa.

Functions:
- It enables you to convert the original UT (second CD) S3TC texture packages for use in Unreal.
- Conversion UT ----> Unreal
- Converted textures cannot be loaded into the Unreal Editor !!!

This conversiontool was speccifially created by Kerilk for the S3TC Project.

Functions:
- It enables you to converts the original UT (second CD) S3TC textures packages for use in Unreal.
- Conversion UT, UT2003, UT2004 ----> Unreal
- Conversion Unreal
----> UT, UT2003, Ut2004
- Converted packages can be loaded into the Unreal ,UT, UT2003, Ut2004 Editor :)
- However the tool was disfunctional in some areas :(

Notes:
- All texture settings like DrawScale, Animation, Fire, Wet will get lost in UT, UT2003, UT2004 Editor. They will have to be re-added in the Unreal Editor.

This is the fixed Version 02 conversiontool created by Kerilk for the S3TC Project.

Functions:
- It enables you to converts the original UT (second CD) S3TC textures packages for use in Unreal.

----> UT, UT2003, Ut2004
- Converted packages can be loaded into the Unreal ,UT, UT2003, Ut2004 Editor.

Notes:

Installation:

For all tools above goes:

- Place the ''to be" converted utx files and the S3TCest in a folder.
- Than run the tool.
- A new temp folder will be created that contains the converted textures.

Description: The Halfwrap, Blintz, CentreTile, Diamonds, Quicktile, TopLeftMirror and ZoomOutAndFlip filters use a format originally designed for Adobe Photoshop, PSP can read this format, but it needs an additional file called msvcrt10.dll In general you also need this file if you use PhotoShop CS or CS 2
