Saving the file as BMP file
Prevent conflicts and work precise Make sure there will be no conflict with the Editor lateron, just follow next rules: - Make sure you save your original work file as PSD file while containing all layers, guidelines and Alpha channels !!!!! You may need it if you want to redo parts from the texture !
After that: - Delete all guidelines. Following above rules will make sure you will end up with a clean, garbagefree, conflictfree good importable file :)
Importing in the Editor Now you want to import them into the editor. Make sure that the browse panel on the left is set to Textures.
Than on the bottom there should be a button that says: Import. Click on the Import button and browse to where your BMP files are located.
Now select the file you want to import and click ok
Now you may want to add it to a group, like Wall, Floor, Ceiling, Mask,
Deco, etc. You can choose None, thats ok, but if you create a big package
than groups are convenient.
Importing Masked textures Basically its the same as above except you have to check Masked
Importing multiple textures Choose import and browse to the BMP files you want to import, and select all the BMP files you want
Than choose open
Now click on Ok to All and all the textures will import in oné go.
Dont forget to save the package after you imported new textures !
Click on the Save button to save the package as utx file.
