Make sure there will be no conflict with the Editor lateron, just follow next rules:

- Make sure you save your original work file as PSD file while containing all layers, guidelines and Alpha channels !!!!! You may need it if you want to redo parts from the texture !

After that:

- Delete all guidelines.
- Delete all Alpha channels if present.
- Flatten your image.
- Resize the the image to the size you want it to be.
- Convert your image to Index Colored according the EXACT settings as seen above.
- Safe your file as BMP according the EXACT settings as seen above.

Following above rules will make sure you will end up with a clean, garbagefree, conflictfree good importable file :)

Importing in the Editor

Now you want to import them into the editor. Make sure that the browse panel on the left is set to Textures.

Than on the bottom there should be a button that says: Import. Click on the Import button and browse to where your BMP files are located.

Now select the file you want to import and click ok

Now you may want to add it to a group, like Wall, Floor, Ceiling, Mask, Deco, etc. You can choose None, thats ok, but if you create a big package than groups are convenient.
Under Package you have to add a name (in this example TestPackage), and hit Ok. After saving the package the editor will use that name to create the utx package (in this example it will be TestPackage.utx)

Importing Masked textures

Basically its the same as above except you have to check Masked

Importing multiple textures

Choose import and browse to the BMP files you want to import, and select all the BMP files you want

Than choose open

Now click on Ok to All and all the textures will import in oné go.

Dont forget to save the package after you imported new textures !

Click on the Save button to save the package as utx file.
